Desolation Sound Marine Park is renowned for its warm, mostly protected waters and picturesque scenery with mountains rising up from waterways dotted with islands. BC Parks has set up a number of camping areas just for kayakers which we will use along with other sites outside of the marine parks.
Going out a little bit longer, allows you the time to decompress from ‘regular’ life and our exact route is dependent upon group interests, abilities and of course the weather. Exploring the bays and islands of the Sound and surrounding area, we invite you to discover your place in the pictures you’ve seen.
Beyond the Sound, customized trips can include destinations including the Redonda Islands, Cortes Island and Toba Inlet. There are even Lodges that we can pull into for a night or two should you wish to indulge yourself. Ask us for a custom price!

"We had an enjoyable day touring Desolation Sound Marine Provincial Park on a 6 person zodiac boat. The guide was very knowledgeable of the area and enjoyed sharing stories and information. The tour included a yummy lunch, much of it from the guides own garden."
