Welcome to the Lund Harbour House Suite — a premier waterfront vacation rental on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast.
Originally a quaint one-room cabin built on pilings over the water, this unique coastal home was once part of a wooden boardwalk network stretching from Lund Harbour to neighbouring Finn Bay. In the 1990s, the Treadwell family purchased the one-acre waterfront property and thoughtfully expanded the cabin, adding two additional storeys to create a truly one-of-a-kind home. With its signature wavy shingles, whimsical windows, and hand-carved wooden Neptune, the house is now a local landmark in Lund.
Since 2008, Hugh and Christine of Terracentric have called this special property home. They are now delighted to share the private waterfront suite, offering guests an unforgettable place to stay in Lund, BC with unmatched harbour views and walkable access to everything the village offers.
Lund Harbour House Suite guests may also join in some of Terracentric’s tours at special discounted rates if they wish.
The Lund Harbour House Suite is a generous space including:
- A Galley: Custom built kitchenette with propane stove, apartment sized fridge double sink, pots and pans, dishware & utensils for up to 6 people.
- The Head: 3 piece bathroom
- The Cabin: a living room with comfortable seating, including a sofa, lounge chairs and fireplace; this can be a second sleeping area as the sofa converts to a bed
- The Berth: a separate bedroom with queen sized bed
- The Decks: a large wrap around deck with outdoor seating for eating, lounge chairs and herb boxes and did we mention the best views in the harbour?

The Lund Harbour House Suite is steps from the boardwalk and within a five-minute walk to:
- The Lund General Store
- Waterfront restaurants and cafés
- Art galleries and local shops
- Water taxi services to Desolation Sound
- Summer markets and seasonal eateries
Guests also have access to our private kayak launch site, making this the perfect base for sea kayaking in Lund and Desolation Sound. Across the road, a public beach provides easy ocean access for swimming (we don’t recommend swimming in the harbour itself).
The Details:
- Sleeps a family of 4 or 2 couples in two queen beds.
- We have a 2 night minimum for the Lund Harbour House.
- Due to rocky shorelines, unique custom woodwork, and local art, we welcome families with children that are 10 plus years in age.
- Yes, there is parking included in the suite.
- Our galley is stocked with basic amenities such as spices, oil, vinegar, teas and locally roasted coffee.
- The head has shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer.
- Free wifi.
- Parking is available for one vehicle. Second vehicles will need to park in one of the pay lots in the Lund Harbour.
