Timeless Adventure Package
A 9-day adventure package for hard-core adventurers:
We start your adventure with a traditional Welcome Dinner, hosted by local First Nations leaders.
The next day our adventures start on the water as we paddle up the coast to the Ragged Islands and explore natural and human history along the way. We continue our wilderness kayak trip as we travel through Desolation Sound and up into the wilds of the surrounding area. You have a choice to spend your nights at either a luxury kayaking resort or at a more remote wilderness campsite. After two nights at the accommodations of your choice, we paddle back down to Lund to begin our next adventure. If four days just isn't enough for you, then we offer an extension to your trip: a float plane adventure up into the heart of Toba Inlet. Explore where few have gone before!
After one night back in Lund we transition to our beautiful alpine environment. We hike up to Emma Lake, where a camp awaits. From Emma Lake we explore the alpine terrain - snowshoeing along ridges and climbing deep into ice caves. After two nights at our cozy cabin, we helicopter off for the grand finale.
The final two nights are spent at a lodge deep in the alpine wilderness. At this lodge, our time can be spent heli-fishing, hiking, exploring, birding, or just about anything you can think of. Bring home your catch for a fry-up on the final day!

The Details - General Tour Information
Four-night Family Package (for a family or group of 4)
This package includes accommodation for four nights in a beautiful ocean-front, two bedroom chalet with continental breakfast supplies placed in the chalet, dinner on all four nights at the reknown Laughing Oyster Restaurant, and three days of fun-filled adventures with the knowledgeable and trained guides from Terracentric Coastal Adventures Ltd.!
Day one: Check in and dinner at the Laughing Oyster
Day two: Continental breakfast at the chalet followed by our Mossy Meandering Rainforest Hike, approximately 3-4 hours including interpretation, games and a tasty snack. Dinner in the evening at the Laughing Oyster.
Day three: Continental breakfast at the chalet followed by our Marine Park Islands Zodiac Tour, approximately 7 hours including interpretation and a delicious fresh, organic, local on-shore lunch. Dinner in the evening at the Laughing Oyster.
Day four: Continental breakfast at the chalet followed by our Savary Island Day, approximately 6 hours including interpretation, water taxi transportation, games on the beach and a delicious fresh, organic, local picnic lunch. This package includes 2 nights Oceanview Room accommodation in one of the newly (2009) renovated standard view guest rooms, a continental breakfast for two at the Lund Hotel, and a 2-3 hour guided hike through the coastal rainforest on the scenic Hurtado Trail with Terracentric Coastal Adventures Ltd.!

The Mossy Meandering Rainforest Hike on the Hurtado Point Trail, rated low in difficulty, is noteworthy for the outstanding variety of local flora and fauna, and for the magnificent ocean and island views seen from a high seaside rock bluff. Along the way, a multitude of interesting plant species will be identified, including native orchids! Learn about and experience firsthand the Coastal Douglas Fir eco-zone, and enjoy an introduction to the to the history of Lund and surrounding area.

Zodiac Package #2 - Mitlenatch Island Explorer - 6hrs
Calling all birders and naturalists! This package includes 2 nights Oceanview Room accommodation in one of our newly (2009) renovated standard view guest rooms, a continental breakfast for two at the Lund Hotel, and a six hour Zodiac boat trip with Terracentric Coastal Adventures to the dynamic and distinct ecosystem of Mitlenatch Island Provincial Nature Park.
The Zodiac boat tour to Mitlenatch Island, nicknamed the “Galapagos of the Georgia Strait”, offers an exciting tour of the most unique island in the Strait of Georgia. Mitlenatch Island is a nesting colony, home to 30,000 nesting gulls amongst others species of sea birds, it is home to a multitude of other marine mammals including otters, seals and sea lions, and it also provides the ideal conditions for a range of wildflowers that you won’t find anywhere else in the area – chocolate lilies, prickly pear cactuses, blue and white camus just to name a few. After exploring the spectacular variety of spring and summer wild flowers, enjoy a delicious homemade organic lunch. Our travel to and from the island includes passing through the Ragged Islands (Copeland Islands, on a map), Twin Islands, and right by Cortez Island. Porpoise and dolphin sightings are common on this trip!

The kayak tour from Lund, BC, to the Copeland Islands, is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the waters surrounding Lund on a fabulous adventure that ends as the sun lowers in the sky. The Story of Lund by Kayak is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the waters surrounding Lund on a fabulous adventure! This interpretive kayak program explores Lund and the surrounding area by sea kayak. Hear intriguing stories of First Nations’ ingenuity and colourful tales of early settlers and their antics. Paddle the ragged shoreline with your Story-teller and Guide, learning about the area. The program finishes with an optional viewing of historical photographs located throughout the Historic Lund Hotel. No experience required! This program is a great way to get introduced to the area and to paddling!
