Imagine floating on the water; first in a kayak and then in a wet suit with a mask, fins and snorkel. This tour combines two wonderful ways to explore the magic of the ocean.
We begin with an introduction to sea kayaking, the gear and equipment and basic paddling technique. Then we paddle along beautiful shores to a nearby bay, where we suit up for really getting wet. Our waters are some of the warmest north of San Francisco and are rich in sea life.
By now we have earned our delicious lunch, after which we jump back into the kayaks for the return trip. Excellent guides, delicious food, fun activities both on, in and off the water are sure to keep everyone entertained for a fun, stress free day on the water!

Living Light: New Moon Paddling

When the sky is its darkest, take to the water to view the original underwater light show - bioluminescence.
Any kind of movement, seaweed swaying in the waves, the dip of your paddle, a fish darting under your boat stimulates tiny planktonic dinoflagellates to luminescence. It is an amazing experience, that is difficult to describe.

Full Moon Rising

Experience the magic of paddling in the moons rays. The waters are quiet from the hum of day time boat traffic. A seal slaps its tail, a pup calls to it mother. Leaving at the harbour at dusk we embark on an evening journey to the quiet time on the ocean. One by one, the stars come out, and soon a bright glow rises on the horizon.
